From a sculptural point of view, the asperities of a surface are more significant than its concavities. If a triangulated orientable surface is smooth enough, it has a stellation (omnicapping) that can be configured with all of the stellations "popped inward." The stellation can be mad-woven. In this way we gain the stiffness of corrugation and triaxial weaving at no cost in the outer smoothness of the sculptural surface.
